November saw Students from Colorado College visit the Maroma’s ceramics section, accompanied by Associate Professor Pallavi Sriram. Known for her experimental movement artistry and interdisciplinary approach to art-making, Pallavi orchestrated this trip to deepen the students’ understanding of the intersection between craft and culture. Maroma Ceramics Director Supriya Menon led the group through the ceramics workspace, explaining the process of creating Maroma’s earth-friendly ceramics that include our animal-shaped incense-holders, candle-holders, aroma diffusers and mosquito coli-holders .
